For small groceries you can go to the little store in the village. Farmers sell their homemade cheese, milk, eggs, marmelade and honey. For real shopping you can go to the town Zvolen (30km.) or Banská Bystrica (50km.) Zvolen and Banská Bystrica both have a nice square full of terraces and restaurants.
