Generally we have a layer of snow from late December until March. It may freeze even more than 20 degrees below zero. Due to the dry air and little wind, it feels less cold.
Autumns are often sunny. Nature is very colorful around here. In early September you start to notice mornings are chilly and sometimes evenings are quite cold already. It is lovely to spend those evenings by the fireplace.
